Dollaya
Mad About Mango Wood

Mangos are truly delicious and definitely my favourite fruit.

.gifWell, heaven be praised they are now well and truly in season. But the mango tree is not just revered for what its branches bear. Its value also derives from what it holds inside as well as out.

.gifMango wood-based vessels and decorative objects are currently all the rage. The deep and rich polished finish the wood often provides is a welcome and sustainable alternative to the more traditional use of tropical hardwoods.

.gifDollaya Handicraft Company was set up during 2003 in nearby Sankampaeng and is a specialist manufacturer of mango wood products. The company is also a member of "Intertrader and Exporter List", a project that runs as part of the Thai Government's Department of Export Promotion (DEP).

.gifDollaya carefully selects the best mango wood available before transforming it into a wide range of decorative home items. This process occurs under the hands of specialist sculptors whose practice spans more than 20 years. With all this collective skill and experience it is not surprising to find that Dollaya already has more than 500 different designs to choose from. These include vases, candle holders, bowls, trays and boxes, even lampshades and puzzles and games to entertain both children and adults.

.gifDollaya prides itself on the quality control adhered to before goods go for shipment, having already established a fruitful position as a specialist wholesaler and exporter within Asia and Europe.
