Lamphun Longan Fair

Longan, known in Thai as lamyai, is one of the prized fruits grown in Northern Thailand. This fair, held in the provincial capital of Lamphun, features a fruit contest, a fabulous parade of floats decorated with longan and a Miss Longan beauty pageant.
