19th Chiang Mai Foods & Tourism Festival:
7-13th October

One of the tastiest festivals in the coming winter will definitely be the 19th Chiang Mai Food & Tourism Festival. Jointly organised by the Chiang Mai Restaurant Club, the Tourism Authority of Thailand Northern Region 1 Office, and Central Airport Plaza, the festival promises a selection of gastronomic delights by more than 70 popular restaurants in Chiang Mai.

.gifAmong the interesting activities taking place in the festivals are:

  • cooking, carving art on fruit, and an ice-carving contest
  • a junior dancing contest
  • a high school folksong and dancing contest
  • a somtam (papaya salad) contest
  • tourist services and fun activities from tourism dealers, and
  • stage entertainments by famous Thai artists
