This film by Sydney Pollack is the first ever that has been shot inside the UN Headquarter.

Carl Denham, a big showman, facing serious economic problems in the Depression, still wanted to give his audience a big surprise. So he collected some funding and headed for Skull Island. His daredevil team consisted of adventurer Jack Driscoll and a beautiful blond Ann Darrow. Oblivious of the danger, they were making their way toward the 30 - foot tall Kong. This is one of the best films in its genre ever and is going to be recreated by Peter Jackson.

Thongpoon Khokbhodi was born in a poor farming family in the Northeast. He left his homeland and headed for the big mango where he finally bought an old taxi, meaning to ply for hire. One day he was attacked and his taxi stolen. He woke up to find himself broke, and could not pay for his tiny apartment. This film, by director Chatri Chaleom Yukol (Suriyothai) was featured in 31st Berlin film festival, and has been considered one of the Thai classic films.

The world's superhero is back in action, but this time, he choses to discard his immortality to be with Louis Lane. But to reject oneself was difficult, as Lex Luther proved by joining hands with three Cryptonian criminals that got away from their prison cell. The late Christopher Reeve met Gene Hackman in this marvelous action movie.

In the wild, unstable, ancient China, the grandest faction was ruled by the determined, ambitious Qin, who had aroused great opposition planning to unite the nation as one strong China. Great warriors in China plotted to assassinate him, but a minor official alone put a stop to this plan and killed off the three greatest assassins. In his delight, Qin summoned this man to the palace to give him the full account of the three battles, a meeting which ends with terrifying heroic deeds and death. This is one of Zhang Yimou's (Raise the Red Lantern, House of the Flying Daggers) latest.

Also released as Kamikaze, Attack Squadron is a docu-drama set in Japan, World War II. It was the time the nation demanded the greatest degree of patriotism among Japanese as well as fatal devotion to suicidal missions. Senda (Toshiro Mifune - Seven Samurai, Rashomon) is an air-force officer with a shaken belief. He is uncertain about the wisdom of a kamikaze mission to attack a handful of the opponents' ships that is certain to rouse the wrath of the Americans. This film also presents rare news footage from the WWII.
