6th - 8th: Silver Products Festival Chiang Mai has a long tradition of making silver artefacts to very high standards. The festival aims to show visitors the shops and ateliers along or near Wua Lai Road, Wat Sri Supan and Wat Saen Muen, where the craftsmen create and sell bracelets, necklaces, rings, and the speciality of the region, saloong - intricately-worked ceremonial bowls.

21st - 22nd: Paying Respects at the Jao Por Pratu Ba Shrine, Lampang Situated mid-way between Amphoe Mae Mor and Amphoe Ngao, the Pratu Ba (Forest Gate) Shrine has an annual ceremony with special processions and rituals to pay respects to the local spirit, and also dances, boxing, and a beauty contest. Nearby are rock paintings said to be between three and five thousand years old.
