RECOMMENDED RESTAURANTS
Bubbles Live – healthy food in a Zen garden
All over the world people are concerned about their health, starting from the way we live to the way we eat. However, in an everyday busy life, it’s hard to find nice places that really care about our health. Our recommended restaurant this month features a genuine healthy place that is dedicated to the concept of bringing the customers the utmost healthy cuisine.
The menu at Bubbles Live includes a delicious array of 100% healthy homemade dishes, set in the cool ambience of an orchid Zen garden, offering you a relaxing place to savor your food in the heart of the city
Start your day with an American or British-style breakfast, finished off with fresh seasonal fruits. Breakfast is available from 7am. For lunch and dinner Bubbles Live serves up salads, sandwiches, burgers and steaks, whatever you want to choose.
Highlights of Bubbles Live - which is well-known by word of mouth from customer to customer - are the popular orders such as extra large jacket potatoes and French-style appetizers such as French Bacon Quiches (Quiche Lorraine) and Tomato Mozzarella Tartle.
After a big meal, finish with one of the lip-smacking fresh coffee, smoothies or juices made from fresh fruits.
Bubbles Live has allocated plenty of space for you to enjoy drinking, eating, reading or chatting with friends in many lovely corners. Last but not least, don’t forget their homemade muffin, fried ice cream served with fresh fruits, or ice cream with fried fruits or fruit pancakes. You can even spend your day at Bubbles Live. Bring your laptop and enjoy free WiFi all day long.

Kuay Tiew Rue (meaning ‘noodles which sell in a boat’) or spicy Thai noodles, is a dish which is very popular with Thai people, and even some farang who don’t mind spicy food. In Chiang Mai, when thinking about a restaurant that serves delicious Kuay tiew rue, many think of the name Kuay Tiew Rue Khun Mor.
Kuay Tiew Rue Khun Mor launched its first branch in 1993 in Mae Tang district. The owner is a doctor, Dr. Srisuda Laothong, and back then she was working at Mae Tang Hospital. All the recipes were created by the owner who really loves cooking and wanted to open a restaurant that served Thai spicy noodles prepared according to her own recipes
Not long after the opening, Kuay Tiew Rue Khun Mor expanded and opened more branches, in the food courts in Central Airport Plaza and Carrefour. With its outstanding taste and quality, Kuay Tiew Rue Khun Mor quickly become a favourite among noodle lovers. The new branch on Nimmanhaemin Road opened in 1998 with a capacious drinks menu and Coffee For You, coffee beans from the Doi Tung Foundation. Right now branches of Coffee For You are in Central Plaza Chiang Mai Airport, Carrefour and many other places.
Recently, Kuay Tiew Rue Khun Mor changed its name to ‘Khun Mor’s Cuisine’ and the restaurant underwent renovation in an elegant, modern, Lanna style. Apart from the new interior and decoration, more items have been added to offer a wide range of choice for its customers, including noodles, Thai food, Northern food, and single dish menu-items. Particularly recommended are kuay tiew rue (chicken or pork), steamed fish in spicy and sour soup, tom yam kung, steamed rice with pineapple, and Northern Thai sausage. Khun Mor’s Cuisine offers breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7.30 am until 10 pm, every day.
