.gifAs people strive for a healthier lifestyle, the fresh and nutritious ingredients of Japanese cuisine have become ever more appealing. Chiang Mai has experienced a boom in Japanese restaurants, which can be found dotted all around the city, and last year a valuable edition to this scene emerged in the heart of the city on the second floor of the Kalare Night Bazaar.

.gifSenya is a large authentic-looking airy and well-lit Japanese restaurant with an indoor stone garden, beautiful decor and a great atmosphere due to its proximity to the Night Bazaar.

.gifThe Japanese chef has created more than 80 dishes, with more to come soon. Of the sushi items, Tuna Sashimi, California Roll and Unagi Zen (eel with rice) are very popular, with the salmon steak and grilled mackerel (saba shioyaki) recommended from the cooked fare. An interesting dish is the cold soba or green tea noodles accompanied with dips and there are also set menus available. Ramens are aplenty here too with the choice item being the Tokyo Ramen filled with noodles, seaweed, pork and crabstick, and the Samurai salad, made up of tuna and shrimp, is a good option from the selection of salads. Beverages range from fruit shakes to Asahi beer, traditional hot & cold sake including Jinro from Korea, and Nama sake from Japan. Senya will be pleased to welcome you daily (closed Sundays) from 6pm to midnight so you can experience a night of authentic Japanese dining.

.gifWhat a pleasant surprise to find such a restaurant in the city of Chiang Mai! That was the first impression I had towards the Three-Sixty Bar and Restaurant.

.gif

.gifSet on the top floor of Doi View Hotel, the picturesque scenery of Doi Suthep and the whole city are provided with a 360-degree perspective. Although the Three-Sixty Bar and Restaurant is located in a crowded area of Nimmanhaeminda Rd., the atmosphere at the top of the 10 storey building gives you a touch of clean fresh air and an outstanding private dining experience.

.gifApart from the impressive location, the gastronomic quality is also exceptional. A variety of appetizers and main dishes are offered featuring Thai, Chinese and international cuisine. The recommended items include fried salmon with crispy basil leaves, roasted pork ribs with vegetables, fried pork larb, and the steamed New Zealand mussels with white wine are not to be missed; over 100 selections of coffee and cocktails are also available.

.gifPlus, to fulfill your aesthetic dining experience, live music is performed all night long.
